(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 63 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Shuping Admitted to Prison
2. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Suyuan Under Formal Arrest
3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Xiuqin and Zheng Detained
4. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Gao Zonghua Arrested
5. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomic Region] Eleven Practitioners Face Indictment
6. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Guo Shenghui Harassed
7. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Ying Detained and Two Other Practitioners Harassed
8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Detained
1. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Shuping Admitted to Prison
Ms. Hao Shuping was admitted to the Shijiazhuang City Women’s Prison on March 3, 2026, to serve three and a half years.
2. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Suyuan Under Formal Arrest
Ms. Chen Suyuan, 78, was arrested on January 20, 2026. She has been issued a formal arrest warrant.
3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Xiuqin and Zheng Detained
Ms. Yang Xiuqin was arrested on February 28, 2026. Her home was ransacked.
Practitioner Zheng was arrested on March 1, 2026, and is currently held at the Yaojia Detention Center.
4. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Gao Zonghua Arrested
Ms. Gao Zonghua, 85, was arrested at home by three officers from the Gaohe District Domestic Security Division on February 25, 2026, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Gaohe District Police Department for interrogation and then to the Hefei City Detention Center. Due to her high blood pressure, Ms. Gao was denied admission and released. She was placed under residential surveillance.
5. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomic Region] Eleven Practitioners Face Indictment
Among the more than 50 practitioners who were arrested on November 2, 2025, 11 are facing indictment.
6. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Guo Shenghui Harassed
Several police officers, led by two village officials, went to Mr. Guo Shenghui’s home on March 11, 2026. He was not at home. As his daughter refused to open the door, the officers used a ladder to scale the fence and broke in. They confiscated Mr. Guo’s Falun Gong books, computer, and cell phone. They also ordered his daughter to sign some documents. She refused to comply.
7. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Ying Detained and Two Other Practitioners Harassed
Ms. Gao Ying, in her 60s, was arrested at home on March 7, 2026, by four officers from the Jiuduhe Town Police Station and the Huairou District Domestic Security Division. They ransacked her place and confiscated several Falun Gong books. Ms. Gao was given 12 days at the Shunyi District Lockup.
Around the same time, Ms. Xie Jiu’e, 80, and Ms. Wen Yuhong, in her 60s, were harassed at their respective homes by two officers from the Jiuduhe Town Police Station. They took photos of the practitioners and ordered them not to go out to talk to people about Falun Gong.
8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Mr. Gong Yiping, Ms. Cheng Huihua, Ms. Zhang Xueyan, and Ms. Wang Xuemei, were arrested on January 21, 2026. They were released on bail on February 21, 2026.
