(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an event in front of the House of Representatives in The Hague (Den Haag) from April 7 to 9, 2026. They talked to the newly sworn-in Dutch government officials and Members of the House, and told them about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa. They also called on the Dutch government to support practitioners and help end the persecution.
Practitioners displayed banners beside the temporary location of the House of Representatives—along the south side of Prinses Irenepad and the north side of the Bezuidenhoutseweg. The banners read: “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong,” “26 Years of Falun Gong’s Resistance to Persecution,” “Stop Organ Harvesting and Murder of Falun Gong Practitioners,” “Falun Dafa Has Spread to Over 100 Countries, Benefiting the Minds and Bodies of Hundreds of Millions,” and “The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”
Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises accompanied by gentle music. They also distributed informational leaflets and spoke with passersby. Several civil servants who work at the House of Representatives expressed their support and encouragement.

Four young parliamentary assistants listened attentively to practitioners and accepted copies of the investigation report of Doctors Against the Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH), which exposes the CCP’s large scale state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting, with Falun Dafa practitioners as the main victims.
One assistant said he lived in Utrecht and often saw the practitioners holding events in front of the central train station. He also knew about China’s human rights abuses. They said they would give the report to the Members of the House and relevant groups to help stop the persecution.
One Representative accepted the practitioner’s leaflet and appeal letter. He said, “I know about the persecution of Falun Gong and it has happened for many years. This is bad. I will read these materials.”
Another Representative expressed her support and praise for the practitioners’ event, and encouraged them to continue their efforts.
People Voice Support for Practitioners’ Efforts
Other groups were conducting protests on the morning of April 7, and the police were there to maintain order. One officer told practitioners that he often saw them at The Hague city center, and he commended the way they peacefully protested.

Some lawyers and people who were part of other protests talked with practitioners. One protester said, “We should all work together to protest evil regimes.”
A man who lives in Arnhem accepted a flyer and asked a practitioner what he could do to help. The practitioner told him to sign the petition calling to end the CCP’s forced organ harvesting. He immediately signed it and wished the practitioners success.
Many students who were visiting the House of Representatives accepted flyers and signed the petition.
