(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Han Wei’s Second Hearing Scheduled

Mr. Han Wei was scheduled to appear at the Chongchuan District Court for a second hearing on March 26, 2026.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Zhongli Admitted to Prison to Serve a Prison Term Given in 2021

Ms. Sun Zhongli was sentenced to seven years on October 14, 2021. Due to health reasons, she didn’t start to serve time. In early January 2026, the police seized her and took her to the Yaojia Detention Center for over two months. She was admitted to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on March 16.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yuling Arrested

Ms. Wang Yuling, 63, was arrested at home on March 22, 2026, by officers from the Laiguangying Police Station officers. Her home was ransacked.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Zhiling and Jin Detained

Ms. Li Zhiling and Jin, first name and gender unknown, were arrested on March 19, 2026, by the Ziqiang Police Station officers. They are being held at the Weizigou Detention Center, and denied visits with their families.

5. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Lianming and Ms. Zhang Yu’e Detained

Ms. Zhang Lianming and Ms. Zhang Yu’e were arrested on March 20, 2026, and taken to the Huangzhou Detention Center for criminal detention.

6. [Rushan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Liming and His Sister Arrested

Mr. Wang Liming was arrested on March 5, 2026. His sister, Ms. Wang, first name unknown, was arrested several days later.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Siling Detained

Ms. Li Siling was arrested around March 20, 2026, by officers from the Zilijie Police Station. She is being held in Weizigou Detention Center.

8. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Yufeng Detained

Ms. Liang Yufeng, 62, was arrested at home on February 5, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She has been detained since.

9. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Cai Ruizhen Detained

Ms. Cai Ruizhen was arrested on March 20, 2026. She is being held in the Chaoyang District Lockup.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hou Mila and Ms. Hou Aila’s Prison Terms Expiring Soon

Ms. Hou Mila and her sister, Ms. Hou Aila, were both sentenced to eight years in 2019. Ms. Hou Mila is scheduled to be released from the Hubei Province Women’s Prison on April 19, 2026. Ms. Hou Aila is scheduled to be released from the Hankou Prison on May 16, 2026.

11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Chunxiang Denied Visit with Her Lawyer

Ms. Yu Chunxiang is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center. Her attorney went to visit her on March 23, 2026, but was turned away by the detention center guard, citing an order from above.

12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. He Lirong and Ms. Lyu Guilan Serving Time in Prison

Ms. He Lirong, 61, was arrested for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on May 2, 2023. She was detained for seven-and-a-half months at the Yaojia Detention Center, before she was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison and fined 12,000 yuan. She is being incarcerated at the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison in Shenyang City.

Ms. Lyu Guilan, 75, was arrested on March 5, 2025. She was detained in the Yaojia Detention Center and sentenced to three years in prison. She is also serving time at the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison.
