(Minghui.org) When a documentary exposes the shocking yet almost unbelievable dark reality of live organ harvesting, would one choose to believe it, or turn away?

On April 25, 2026, the documentary film State Organs was played at National Chung Hsing University. Although the university received threatening emails before the event, the screening proceeded as planned. Nearly 400 people attended to learn about this long-concealed issue. After the film ended, many audience members lingered, as shock, doubt, and reflection spread throughout the hall—was all of this real? How does this impact people in Taiwan?

Panelists from different fields shared and discussed their thoughts with the audience, and they called for those present to spread the truth.

The documentary State Organs was screened at the Social Sciences and Management Building of National Chung Hsing University in Taichung on April 25, 2026. After the film, panelists and audience members participated in a discussion.

City Councilor: Falun Gong Practitioners’ Perseverance in Upholding Their Beliefs is Admirable

Taichung City Councilor Huang Shou-Ta expressed admiration for Falun Gong practitioners’ persistent efforts to raise awareness.

Taichung City Councilor Huang Shou-Ta attended the screening and said, “The more people know the truth, the more powerful it becomes.” He said that State Organs is having exactly that kind of impact. Many people have questioned whether live organ harvesting by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is real and whether it has anything to do with them, but the documentary, he noted, presents solid evidence proving that it is real.

He explained, “Over the past few years, there have been events such as police brutality in Hong Kong and various developments related to China’s Belt and Road Initiative. When viewed within the broader international context, it makes it clear that the organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners is absolutely relevant to all of us.”

Huang observed that the issue of organ harvesting is now being seriously discussed “precisely because Falun Gong practitioners have continuously persisted and upheld their beliefs, which have enabled people to understand that this is a fact supported by evidence … This is deeply admirable,” He said he hopes “that through such efforts the forced organ harvesting can be stopped.”

As a public representative, Huang said, “Through legislation, we can truly provide protection regarding the organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners, prevent the situation from worsening, and ensure that human rights are genuinely upheld.” He also called on more people to spread the truth and support Falun Gong.

Renowned Forensic Expert: The CCP’s Moral Collapse Dooms It to Failure

Renowned forensic expert Kao Ta-Cheng said that the CCP’s loss of morality is destined to lead to failure.

Panelist and renowned forensic expert Kao Ta-Cheng stated, “Chinese doctors use organs from living people to conduct organ transplant surgeries. Such surgeries inevitably carry extremely high failure rates, yet they continue to promote them through false propaganda.” He also mentioned hearing reports that the CCP had conducted large-scale blood and health testing on elementary and middle school students, after which many children reportedly disappeared, leading people to suspect that the testing was preparation for organ matching.

Kao believes that the CCP’s moral decay is the root of the problem, “There is no humanity, no ethical foundation, and no compassion but only struggle between people. An education system like that is destined to fail. A country that has lost its morality is disliked throughout the world.”

Clinic Director: Falun Gong Represents a Force of Goodness

Dr. Kao Chia-Chun encouraged everyone to courageously share the truth.

After watching the film, clinic director Dr. Kao Chia-Chun said he was “deeply shocked.”

“The ongoing persecution of Falun Gong and these kindhearted people may not be happening in Taiwan, but it absolutely cannot be taken lightly. If one day Taiwan is not properly safeguarded, Taiwanese people could also become victims of the CCP,” he said.

As legislation aimed at stopping organ harvesting is currently in progress in Taiwan, Kao believes that it “requires greater public support so that legislators and local councilors understand the importance of supporting such bills.”

“We must step outside our comfort zones and continue spreading accurate information to influence those who are indifferent or unconcerned about this issue,” he said. “Spreading the truth is our responsibility. We should be more courageous and more willing to share the truth.” Good people, he added, should not remain silent.

Speaking about how Falun Gong practitioners have peacefully and rationally continued exposing the persecution for 27 years, Kao recalled observing practitioners years ago when a high ranking official from China visited Taiwan, “They stood silently holding banners. I felt this was an extraordinarily powerful force — a quiet protest expressing their demands.”

“Personally, I deeply admire them. From the bottom of my heart, I respect these Falun Gong practitioners,” Kao said. “They have done this for so many years, and with such steadfastness— it truly is a force of goodness.”

Company Executive: The Truth Must Be Continually Promoted

Furniture company executive Lu Wei-Han (right) suggested that people share the truth with those around them.

Furniture company executive Lu Wei-Han said that the facts revealed in State Organs and the evil nature of the CCP are extremely important for Taiwan’s younger generation to recognize. “For Taiwan’s overall environment and the protection of democracy, this is critically important.”

Lu was especially moved by a scene in the film in which practitioners, even while being subjected to organ harvesting, still shouted, “Falun Dafa is good.” The steadfastness of Falun Gong practitioners in their faith made him feel that “the spirit of Falun Gong truly deserves to be promoted.” He learned about Falun Gong’s worldwide spread and information related to organ harvesting through media reports and encounters with practitioners. He said, “Do not underestimate these issues or think they have nothing to do with us.”

He suggested that people “share the documentary with more friends around them and continue promoting it.” He added that next time he would bring friends to watch State Organs. “Finally, a voice of justice has emerged,” he said.

University student Ye Chia-Hao, who attended the screening for the second time, said he felt even more strongly that the film helps people understand the truth and the evil nature of the CCP. The CCP, he said, desperately does not want Taiwanese people or people around the world to know what it has done, which is why numerous threatening letters were sent in an attempt to prevent the film from being shown in Taiwan. Therefore, people should do everything possible to “tell relatives and friends around them, spread the truth, let people know about the CCP’s evil acts, and let them know that Falun Gong practitioners are good people.”
