Audiences in Mexico, Brazil, Germany, France, and the United States expressed their appreciation for Shen Yun. A German official remarked, “From one to 10, I would say it’s an 11!"
One MP wrote: "This day also serves to honor the courage and resilience demonstrated over the years by practitioners of Falun Dafa. May you all enjoy a wonderful celebration.”
“Because of your demonstration of high integrity and ability, meriting our great trust and respect. we are most pleased to award you the Governor's Citation in appreciation of your outstanding services to the citizens of this State.”
The mayor's proclamation recognized Falun Dafa practitioners' contributions to "a sense of connection, harmony, and well-being within the Sugar Land community" over the past 30 years
Several people who paused to talk with practitioners said they were interested in the practice. Some of them started to learn the exercises that day, while others signed the petition after learning about the persecution.
One young man who participated in the event said that, after he started practicing Falun Dafa, he was able to remain calm despite the stress of schoolwork and was able to concentrate because his was at peace.
