The defense lawyers pointed out that their clients have the Constitutional right to practice their faith and that they didn’t commit a crime by doing so. Despite the prosecution's lack of evidence, the judge gave the couple long sentences and heavy fines.
Many stopped at a Falun Dafa booth and signed a petition to help stop the persecution in China. One said that supporting Falun Dafa is supporting what is universally good and divine.
People applauded the waist drum team, waved, and danced to the drumbeats. Many attendees visited the Falun Dafa booth after the parade and learned more about the practice and the persecution in China.
