(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Yuyun Detained for Seven Months
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Ruiping on Trial
9. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
10. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Guo Tinghai Arrested
11. [Beijing] Ms. Li Guiping Formally Arrested
12. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Chenglan Released
1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Hongmei’s Fifth Hearing Scheduled
Ms. Li Hongmei was scheduled to appear in the Acheng District Court on September 3, 2026, for the fifth hearing.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yuling’s Trial Scheduled
Ms. Wang Yuling has been detained for over five months. She was scheduled to stand trial for September 3, 2026.
3. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiuzhen Faces Indictment
Ms. Wang Xiuzhen was reported to police in spring 2026 by a local resident for distributing Falun Gong flyers. The Lanshan District Domestic Security Division submitted her case to the Lanshan District Procuratorate.
4. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Jinmei Detained
Ms. Zhao Jinmei, 78, was arrested on August 28, 2026, by officers from the Lingyuan Road Police Station and the Zhuhe Road Police Station. The officers seized her Falun Gong books and interrogated her. She was put in a detention center the next day.
5. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Duan Wenying Detained
Ms. Duan Wenying was arrested on August 28, 2026, by officers from the Qinglong County Domestic Security Division. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Qinglong County Detention Center.
6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Shang Weifeng Detained
Mr. Shang Weifeng was arrested around August 24, 2026, by officers from the Shengli Police Station. His home was ransacked. He is being held in a local detention center.
7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Yuyun Detained for Seven Months
Ms. Zhou Yuyun was arrested on January 16, 2026, when she was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Tieling City of the same province. She was detained for seven months, and released in mid-August.
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Ruiping on Trial
Ms. Wang Ruiping is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center. She had a virtual hearing by the Ganjingzi District Court at the detention center on September 1, 2026.
9. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhang Guangyan was arrested by officers from the Hancheng Police Station. She was detained for seven days and released on August 25, 2026.
Ms. Yan Shuhua was arrested in the Hancheng Street Market on August 30, 2026, by officers from the Hancheng Police Station and the Xiangyundao Police Station. She was released the same day.
Yaguang, last name and gender unknown, was arrested by officers from the Xiangyundao Police Station, and released the same day.
10. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Guo Tinghai Arrested
Mr. Guo Dinghai was arrested by three officers from the Jiudian Police Station on the evening of August 31, 2026. The officers ransacked his home, and seized some Falun Gong books, and 1,000 yuan in cash.
11. [Beijing] Ms. Li Guiping Formally Arrested
Ms. Li Guiping, 70, was arrested on July 22, 2026, and is being held at the Beijing First Detention Center. She has been issued a formal arrest warrant by the Chaoyang District Procuratorate.
12. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Chenglan Released
Ms. Chen Chenglan was arrested on August 28, 2026, and released on August 30.
