[Beijing] Public security officers try new tricks to arrest Dafa practitioners at Tiananmen Square
Jiang Zemin knows very well that his image in the international community has suffered as a result of his crackdown on Falun Gong--an action that has been strongly condemned around the world. Fearful of losing the opportunity to host the Olympic Games, he has tried to cover up his evil deeds, only to make them even more conspicuous.
Recently, when Dafa practitioners went to Tiananmen Square to peacefully appeal, there were apparently no police there. Some practitioners unfurled banners, some spoke out "Falun Dafa is good," or "Falun Dafa is a righteous law," and some practiced the exercises on the square. Everything seemed peaceful and serene, as no police came to arrest them. But in reality, those uniformed policemen have been replaced with plainclothes police, who secretly monitored and tailed the practitioners everywhere. Once the practitioners left Tiananmen Square, they were immediately arrested. This is another new trick of the public security officers. They gain good will by deceiving the public, but they still persecute good people and their evil nature has not changed at all.

According to reliable sources, major transformation units of Beijing, of the Beijing Aerospace Ministry, and of Chaoyang District are sending Falun Gong practitioners directly to Masanjia Labor Education Camp in Liaoning Province. They are to be forcibly transformed at this place where monstrous crimes have been committed. The practitioners working in the ministries and commissions in Beijing appeal to all Dafa practitioners working in the Chinese government units to step out, abandon your "humanness," and let the strength of righteous thoughts suppress the evil.
[Zhejiang Province] Zhejiang practitioners, including Wang Yi and Huang Jiaying, have been detained for more than a month
Dafa practitioners Wang Yi and Huang Jiaying, who went to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa during National Day, have been detained now for more than a month. According to another source, in order to intensify the crackdown on Falun Gong practitioners, Hangzhou public security officers held a "transformation class" in Double Dragon Cave of Jinhua a few days ago. Their purpose was to forcibly brainwash practitioners and get them to assist Jiang Zemin in his evil persecution against Falun Gong.
[Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Dafa practitioners are persecuted at the First Labor Camp of Huadu District, Guangzhou
The wardens of this camp handcuffed Dafa practitioner Zhou Mintong to a big tree for three days and nights because he refused to write the "three letters:" of guarantee (of not practicing Falun Gong later), the so-called letter of repentance, letter for exposing and criticizing Falun Gong. During this period, he was released only for meals.
The Female Labor Camp of Chatou Islet, Guangzhou is a very evil place. The wardens there force Dafa practitioners who refuse to write the "three letters" to labor for 16 hours and only allow them 10 minutes for meals. The practitioners are allowed to relieve themselves three times a day: once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once after they finish work in the evening. They severely restrict all personal freedoms. Some steadfast practitioners are locked up in small dark cells and made to endure very tough conditions for resolutely refusing to write the "three letters."
Because access to the labor camp is strictly controlled, detailed information about the condition of Dafa practitioners there is difficult to obtain.
[Chongqing] A good student at Chongqing Livestock Medical School is censored in isolation after appealing for Falun Gong
Ren Honglin was a student at Chongqing Livestock Medical School (class of 98), majoring in Information Management and Information Systems. Ren was arrested for going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. The Education Committee of Beijing made a phone call to the Education Committee of Chongqing, which in turn exerted a lot of political pressure upon Ren's school.
Ren's school assigned a special person to go to Beijing, escort Ren back to school, and censor him in isolation. Ren Honglin is a cadre of the Student Union, and is widely regarded as a good student by his classmates, his department, and his school.
Currently, Ren Honglin is enduring a great deal of pressure from many parties, and we hope people from all walks of life will show their concern for his situation.
[Xinjiang Autonomous District] A county committee cadre from Xinjiang Autonomous District is detained for going to Beijing to appeal
A cadre from Urumqi County Committee in Xinjiang Autonomous District, Zhang Kejiang, was dismissed from the Party for his persistence in practicing Falun Gong. Zhang Kejiang was arrested after going to Beijing to appeal in early October of this year, and was forcibly escorted back home at the end of October by a specially assigned person dispatched by the Public Security Bureau of Urumqi County. Zhang Kejiang is currently detained here.
His niece, Zhang Zhiping, was a student at Nanjing Meteorology Institute before being dismissed for appealing in Beijing last July. Zhang Zhiping was widely regarded as a good student at her school, and when she was forced to leave, her teachers expressed great sorrow. In fear of retaliation, her family dares not take her in, and since she cannot return home she has to wander the streets.
