Eighteen-Year-Old Girl Arrested for Appealing for Her Father (Photo)
(Clearwisdom.net) Zhu Xiuyun, an 18-year-old girl who lived in
Aobao Village, Taikang County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province,
sought justice for her father, Mr. Zhu Yanghe, who was arrested and
sent to a labor camp. She took a petition signed by more than 200
people to the County Court on August 19, 2006. At the direction of
Li Shilin of the 610 Office, court officials and dozens
of police officers from the central police station arrested Ms. Zhu
Xiuyun.
Whether Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. An Qiumei Detained in Baotou Detention Center Is Alive Remains Unclear
(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. An Qiumei, 49, is a retiree from
Hengnuo Railway Company, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia. On June 12,
2006, police from Nanmenwai Police Station of the Donghe District
Police Branch, Baotou City, arrested An Qiumei and her husband,
Xiong Chenyi, when they were posting truth-clarifying materials.
Practitioners' Families are Persecuted at the Henan Provincial Women's Forced Labor Camp on Family Visit Days
(Clearwisdom.net) Henan Provincial Women's Forced Labor Camp, which
is also called Henan Provincial Number One Forced Labor Camp, is
located in Shibalihe, Zhengzhou City. It is the primary forced
labor camp designated for female detainees. The labor camp's number
three team is the most notorious unit that not only persecutes
unlawfully detained Falun Gong practitioners but also their
families, especially during the day of interview. The labor camp is
under the leadership of director Qu, political commissar Zhang, the
head of the number three team, Jia Meili, as well as Hu Shaoxia, Ma
Lan, Han Jizi, and others.
