Despite years of persecution, including negative propaganda and the very real threat of arrest, imprisonment, torture and death, Falun Gong practitioners have reached out to their fellow Chinese and talked to them about the essence of this peaceful cultivation practice. More people in China now understand and openly support Falun Gong.

A celebrated scientist is persecuted for his belief in Falun Gong. Over the course of fifteen years of persecution, Mr. Xiong Huifeng was arrested four times and his family was repeatedly harassed. When his wife passed away after his last arrest, the authorities would not release Mr. Xiong to see her one last time.

Three Men Tortured Beyond Recognition for Refusing to Give Up Their Beliefs

Close to 80 Falun Gong practitioners in Dalian City were arrested in 2012 for installing satellite dishes in people's homes. Ten were sentenced to prison, tortured and brainwashed. Of them, three who remained resolute in their faith were tortured beyond recognition.
