People Listen Attentively When There Is No Interference

(Minghui.org) I greeted an elderly man who was sitting on a bench in a park, and told him about the beauty of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong). I also talked about the truth behind the Tiananmen Square self-immolation and the Chinese regime’s live organ harvesting of prisoners of conscience. He said that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was corrupt. When I asked him to memorize and repeat “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and quit the CCP and its youth organizations, he accepted what I said. However, when I explained things further, he changed his attitude, saying, “I will just take care of myself. I won’t listen to or read anything else.” He closed his eyes and didn’t want to converse anymore.

I met another elderly man at a plaza the next day. I told him about the persecution of Falun Dafa and he agreed to use a pseudonym to quit the Party. I asked him to share the information with his family, and he said he would. Then he suddenly asked why Jiang Zemin (former CCP leader) persecuted Falun Gong. I explained it to him again using my understanding, but he said, “I like Jiang.” Then he added, “Let me think about it.”

He was about to leave, so I said, “For good luck, would you quit the Party with a pseudonym?” He agreed.

Upon arriving home, I was thinking about the attitudes of the two men. Was it because my mind was not pure enough? Or was it because I was afraid or had an attachment of zealotry? The person who said he liked Jiang made me think that it was the old forces interfering with him. We should continue to send forth righteous thoughts, eliminating all of the evil entities that interfere with saving people. At the same time, I asked Master to strengthen me.

Two days ago, I thought that cultivators should be happy, compassionate and peaceful. I was wondering why I couldn’t always be happy. Therefore, I created a Word document and typed the title, “Dig Into My Mind to Find My Human Notions That Prevent Me From Being Happy.” I was looking within and read a few relevant articles from Dafa practitioners, but I hadn’t started writing yet. That afternoon, I went out to clarify the truth and met two men in their 70s. It was then that I felt Master strengthening me, and I felt the effect of sending righteous thoughts.

One man was looking at his cell phone on a chair in a park. I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all the old force factors that would prevent him from knowing the truth. I greeted him and said I would like to talk to him about something.

He said, “Is it about Falun Gong?” His tone seemed to suggest that he wasn’t willing to listen.

I responded, “Has someone talked to you already? If anyone follows Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance...” I continued, using my wisdom, and speaking eloquently. His attitude melted in the peaceful field and he listened attentively. We talked for about 30 minutes, before I said goodbye. I walked quite a distance and turned around to see him still looking toward me.

When I encountered the other man, I first eliminated any old force factors that might try to interfere with him listening to the truth about Dafa. I greeted him and started to talk. He said, “I know what you want to say. It’s Falun Gong. Let me tell you, the CCP is the world’s biggest criminal organization.”

I replied, “Sir, you are wise. There are not many people like you.”

He continued, “It’s no use though. No one can do anything about the Party.”

I said, “People get rewarded for doing good deeds and are punished for doing bad things.” He agreed but said he could only try to be a good person. He mentioned Bo Xilai and said it was because of politics that he was brought down. I told him that it was karmic retribution for his bad deeds. I told him about the forced organ harvesting and quitting the CCP. I suggested a pseudonym for him, but he was adamant that it was no use.

I added, “Sir, most people do things for fame or profit. What are Dafa practitioners doing under immense pressure? We practitioners know it’s safer to stay at home, but our purpose is to ensure your safety. So when disasters happen, kind people will be safe.”

He didn’t say anything. When his bus came, I put truth-clarification flyers into his pocket and asked him if he would like to quit the CCP with a pseudonym. He agreed. I thanked Master for strengthening me and arranging for me to meet this man.

Through these experiences, I realize that one factor that affects people from being saved is external interference, which requires us to pay attention to sending forth righteous thoughts. Another factor is that our human notions block us, which requires us to study the Fa well and look within. When I am able to achieve this, the mighty Fa plays a role. People are open to being saved when there is no interference.
