New Jersey: Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Held

(Minghui.org) The New Jersey Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was held on July 31, 2021. Seventeen practitioners talked about their cultivation experiences and their efforts to save people. Practitioners who attended the conference said that listening to other practitioners’ experiences helped them reflect on themselves and firmed up their resolve to be diligent in cultivation.

Unconditionally Looking Inward

Ms. Liu, who works at the Shen Yun ticketing hotline center, said, “I got into a conflict with another woman from the ticketing center and a guest. Our conflicts resulted in the guest returning the tickets. I looked inward, apologized, and contacted the guest. She decided to repurchase the tickets and happily watched the Shen Yun performance.

“I enlightened to the fact that it didn’t matter what the reason was for the conflicts because it’s all on the surface. More importantly, my human attachments that I need to eliminate were exposed. I found my attachments of saving face, fear of being reprimanded by others, and looking down on others. When I eliminated these attachments the matter was resolved.”

Mr. Pan said that he was dissatisfied with practitioners’ lack of organization during a recent July 4^th Independence Day parade. He saw practitioners all over the place and had many negative thoughts. Just as the parade was about to begin, he realized that his mission was to save people. He needed to relinquish his attachments and human notions. Mr. Pan firmly eliminated those negative thoughts and collected over 100 signatures on the petition to end the persecution.

Breaking Through Human Notions and Letting Go of Self

Mr. Li was a script writer for a practitioner-run media. One day he was assigned to run errands in the back office. Many practitioners felt this was unfair and another media project even offered him a job. He enlightened that this was a way to eliminate his attachments. He reminded himself that he was a practitioner and should let go of ego. He decided that he would help wherever he was needed. He agreed to work in the back office. He said, “When my human attachments surface, I think about how much Master endured and suffered for mankind. I was able to take the matter lightly and do well in the back office.”

Clarifying the Truth to Mainstream Society

Ms. Chen shared her experiences when she interacted with mainstream society. She used every opportunity she had to clarify the truth. She arranged over 100 sessions to spread the truth about Dafa and to expose the persecution to non-profit organizations, members of private clubs, top company employees and government officials. 

She said, “Master will unlock my wisdom and give me opportunities when I devote all my time to saving people. Master knows our abilities better than we do. You will have the ability to accomplish many things when opportunities and responsibilities come looking for you. You should not think about how hard or difficult a task may be. The more impossible a situation may seem, the more likely a miracle will happen. This is because we are validating the Fa, not ourselves.”

Practitioners who attended the conference said that they benefited a lot and will cultivate more diligently.
