Additional Persecution News from China – November 28, 2025 (11 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Chen Guicun and His Wife Ms. Chen Ji’e Face Trial

8. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] A Female Practitioner Arrested

1. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Chen Guicun and His Wife Ms. Chen Ji’e Face Trial

Mr. Chen Guicun and his wife Ms. Chen Ji’e were arrested at home around 10 p.m. on July 21, 2025, by eight plainclothes officers from the Qingyuan County Domestic Security Division. Their home was ransacked and they were given criminal detention. Mr. Chen is held in the Dashagou Detention Center in Qingyuan County and Ms. Chen in the Nangou Detention Center in Fushun City. Qingyuan is under the administration of Fushun.

Their attorney met with Mr. Chen on July 29 and with Ms. Chen on July 30. The couple is now facing trial by the Wanghua District Court in Fushun.

2. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Huixia Faces Second Hearing

Ms. Liu Huixia was scheduled to be tried by the Qishan County Court at a second hearing on November 28, 2025.

Ms. Liu was arrested at home on May 22, 2024. She has been held in several detention centers since.

3. [Yinan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wei Changbao and His Family Arrested

Mr. Wei Changbao, his wife, and son were arrested and taken to the Mengyin County Police Department on November 20, 2025. Mr. Wei was taken to the Mengyin Detention Center on November 21, while his wife was held in the Linyi Detention Center. Their son’s whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Ji Yongqiang Detained

Mr. Ji Yongqiang was arrested by Mengyin County Police Department officers on November 20, 2025. He is now held in the Mengyin County Detention Center.

5. [Leizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Feng Caifeng Detained

Ms. Feng Caifeng was arrested by Zhanjiang City Domestic Security Division officers on November 27, 2025. She has been admitted to a local detention center.

6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Xiuying, 83, Arrested

Ms. Sun Xiuying, 83, talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong when she was shopping in the Shanshui Supermarket on September 29, 2025. Someone reported her. When she came home around 2 p.m., two people were waiting at the door and said that they came to check her water meter. They followed her inside. Then another six men and a woman followed. They showed her two Falun Gong flyers and accused her of distributing them. They ransacked her place, but did not find any Falun Gong-related materials.

They took Ms. Sun to the Erqixincun Police Station for interrogation and searched her purse, seizing two small gourd ornaments and an amulet with Falun Gong messages printed on them. When her daughter came to pick her up, the police deceived her into signing released a bail release document without Ms. Sun’s knowledge.

7. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liu Xuemei and Mr. Tang Zhiwei Detained

Ms. Liu Xuemei and Mr. Tang Zhiwei were arrested at their respective homes around October 15, 2025. They are being held in the Meizhou City Detention Center. Ms. Liu has been repeatedly harassed by the authorities this year.

8. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] A Female Practitioner Arrested

A female practitioner, around 50, was arrested by a group of plainclothes officers on November 18, 2025. They ransacked her place and seized her Falun Gong books, printouts, music players, and other items.

9. [Wuwei City, Gansu Province] Ms. Hou Juhua Harassed

Ms. Hou Juhua was harassed by Shuangcheng Police Station officers on November 20, 2025.

10. [Beijing] Mr. Zhu Guangjun Detained

Mr. Zhu Guangjun was arrested at home on September 14, 2025, by officers from the Shunyi Domestic Security Division and Dasungezhuang Police Station. His home was ransacked. The next day, officers delivered a criminal detention notification to his family and ordered them to deposit money to his commissary account with the Shunyi Detention Center.

Mr. Zhu’s attorney has visited him twice and learned that he struggles with persistently elevated blood pressure. His family has appealed for medical parole, but the police have refused to release Mr. Zhu unless he writes a guarantee statement stating that he will not pass out Falun Gong materials anymore.

11. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Sun Meiying and Ms. Wang Qinxiang Harassed

Ms. Sun Meiying was harassed at home four times between November 8 and 12, 2025, by officer Gu Haifeng from the Xinhua District Police Department and deputy director Chen Dongxu from the Xiyuan Police Station. They said that someone reported her for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong and recorded a video of her. Ms. Sun refused to answer their questions.

Officers Gu and Chen have also harassed Ms. Wang Qinxiang three times since November 9, 2025, with the same excuse that she was recorded and reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. They showed her the screenshot of a video and ordered her to confirm it was her. She refused to comply.
