(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wansheng in Critical Condition Due to Abuse in Prison
2. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Junjia Arrested
3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yuxiu and Her Husband Arrested
4. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Shufen and Ms. Wang Yanmin Taken to Brainwashing Center
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Yafang Arrested
6. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Yu Xiulian Arrested
7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Kong Gang Missing
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fang Caixia Tried
9. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Guanghua Arrested
10. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yu Zhihong Harassed
1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wansheng in Critical Condition Due to Abuse in Prison
Mr. Liu Wansheng developed critical condition due to torture in Jinzhou Prison and was taken to Jinzhou City Hospital for resuscitation.
2. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Junjia Arrested
Mr. Zhang Junjia, a share-ride driver, was arrested on September 23, 2025, by Dugong Street Police Station officers, after being reported by a passenger for talking to him about Falun Gong. During the medical exam at Weikang Hospital, the nurse took six tubes of blood from him. Given the ongoing forced organ harvesting practice in China, he is concerned whether his information would be added to the organ bank. He is currently held at the Tiexi District Detention Center.
3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yuxiu and Her Husband Arrested
Ms. Wang Yuxiu was arrested at 6:20 a.m. on December 19, 2025. Officers from Qingdao City Police Department and Shinan District Police Department waited downstairs of her apartment building and seized her as soon as she left for work. Her home was ransacked and a computer was confiscated. Her husband and their daughter were also taken to the police station. Their daughter was released at around 4 p.m. that day. Ms. Wang and her husband have been detained since.
4. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Shufen and Ms. Wang Yanmin Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Xu Shufen, 72, and Ms. Wang Yanmin, in her 60s, were taken to a brainwashing session located in the Yuetai Hotel around November 20, 2025. Ms. Xu has been released. Ms. Wang’s situation isn’t clear.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Yafang Arrested
Ms. Wu Yafang (also known as Wu Xiuli) was arrested on December 15, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She has been detained since. Her incapacitated husband is now left at home to fend for himself.
6. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Yu Xiulian Arrested
Ms. Yu Xiulian was arrested by Pingzhuang Town police officers on November 22, 2025, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. They ransacked her home and confiscated all of her Falun Gong books. They also forced her to sign some paperwork.
7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Kong Gang Missing
Mr. Kong Gang has been missing since mid-December 2025.
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fang Caixia Tried
Ms. Fang Caixia was scheduled to appear in the Ganjingzi District Court on December 23, 2025. Her son, Mr. Wu Qi, applied to be her family, non-lawyer defender. While his application was approved by prosecutor Zhuang on October 22, 2025, judge Liu Lina repeatedly demanded to see proof to show his relationship to Ms. Fang, even after he had submitted his ID and household registration book. He had to go to the civil affairs service center and the local police station three times to get the paperwork that Liu asked for. Even the service center staff were confused about what should be provided. It’s not clear if Mr. Wu’s application was ever approved.
9. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Guanghua Arrested
Ms. Liu Guanghua was followed and arrested on the afternoon of December 17, 2025, while distributing Falun Gong materials. Her home was ransacked. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books and other belongings. She is being held in the Benxi City Detention Center.
10. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yu Zhihong Harassed
Mr. Yu Zhihong was harassed by Simalu Police Station officers around September 1, 2025. The officers harassed him again in mid-December 2025.
