Additional Persecution News from China – March 10, 2026 (11 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Yuan Xiuying Tried in Court

While Ms. Yuan Xiuying was visiting a family member in Daying County, Sichuan Province, in August 2025, she was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. The police from Daying arrested her at her home in Lanzhou at the end of October 2025, and detained her at the Suining City Detention Center in Sichuan. She was tried by the Daying County Court on March 4, 2026, and is now awaiting the verdict.

2. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jing Chengying Arrested

Ms. Jing Chengying was arrested at home on March 9, 2026. She was carried into a vehicle by four officers. Over 10 officers ransacked the place.

3. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fu Wenjie Appealing Wrongful Sentence

Ms. Fu Wenjie, 65, was sentenced to five years and six months in prison and fined 10,000 yuan on December 4, 2025. Her appeal has been received by the Jinzhou City Intermediate Court on February 25, 2026.

4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liang Ying Detained

Ms. Liang Ying was arrested at home on March 5, 2026. Officers from the Huanghelu Police Station ransacked her place and took her to the Jinjiajie Second Lockup. She was released on bail the same day after her family paid the bail bond. Yet the police arrested her again on March 8 and took her to the Jinjiajie Second Lockup for 15 days.

5. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhu Lanmei’s Home Ransacked

Ms. Zhu Lanmei’s home was ransacked on January 19, 2026. A group of plainclothes officers from the Linqing Police Department tried to force her daughter to open the door. After they found she did not have the key, they called her son and forced him to open the door. They ransacked the place, seizing over 3,000 yuan in cash and several Falun Gong books.

6. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Suping and Mr. Jiang Nan Appealed

Ms. Lu Suping and her son, Mr. Jiang Nan, were tried by the Linghai Court on December 22, 2025. Both were sentenced to six years in prison and fined 15,000 yuan on December 26. Mr. Jiang appealed with the Jinzhou Intermediate Court and requested for a public hearing. The intermediate court staffer deposed him at the Linghai City Detention Center on March 2, 2026, and notified him that no hearing would be held for his appeals.

7. [Chongqing] Ms. Ye Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Ye, first name unknown, 53, lost contact with her family since March 4, 2026. They have confirmed that she was taken to a brainwashing center and the police accused her of accessing overseas websites.

8. [Dong’e County, Shandong Province] More Than Ten Practitioners Arrested

More than ten practitioners were arrested in early 2026 by officers from the Domestic Security Division, including Ms. Chen Changhui, her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. Lei Yudong, Ms. Qi Yuhui, and Ms. Wang Huijie.

9. [Jiayu County, Hubei Province] A Practitioner Arrested, Another Detained

A practitioner was arrested on March 8, 2026, by officers from the Jiayu County Police Department. She was released that night. Her guest, Yin Xianhe, gender unknown, was also arrested. Yin was detained for 15 days.

10. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Cheng Shengqiong Arrested

Ms. Cheng Shengqiong, 81, distributed Falun Gong flyers in the Longtansi Market on January 5, 2026. Someone reported her. She was arrested on her way home at noon by several plainclothes officers who were waiting for her in her subdivision. They ransacked her home and seized about 20 Falun Gong lecture discs, two Falun Gong books, and paper currency worth around 60 yuan with Falun Gong messages printed on them. She was taken to the Chenghua District Police Department.

The police forced Ms. Cheng to sign a blank piece of paper. They also took pictures of her and collected her blood sample, fingerprints, and footprints. She was then moved to the Longtansi Police Station and ordered to sign a bail release document. When she refused, they called her son and had him come sign the paperwork. She was released in the evening.

11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Song Anyu Released

Mr. Song Anyu was arrested on February 20, 2025, by officers from Kaifeng City, Henan Province. They accused him of posting information about traditional Chinese culture on social media and detained him at the Tongxu County Detention Center in Henan. He was released on January 19, 2026, after 11 months detention and paying a 5,000-yuan fine.
